Your Auntie who is unburdened by marriage.
I meant to do a spread for someone today, and then I told my mom that she hurt my feelings by turning the moment I told her that she could have her bag repaired and cleaned for free into an opportunity to attack my character. And she took that opportunity to verbally attack me again.

Do you ever look back on interactions from a long time ago where you were pretending not to be an open wound and remember that there was someone who could have been sowing discord between you and someone else? That's been happening to me a lot lately.

I just want to be on a social media space where I can have a collective and parasocial experience with people I admire over something as innocuous as laughter and hiccups.

You know what's really weird about me? You can deeply hurt me, but I will still carry a grudge against people who came for you when you and I were kumares... like, it could have happened in 1997, but I will still hold onto that blood feud like the pig's blood had been poured on you yesterday.

May I just say that I love the fact that one of the last official acts that Pope Francis did in his life was curve JD Vance...

The cruelty of cutting down trees in DTLA without permission or any sort of plan to replace it with any greenery feels like a coordinated assault on the unhoused population in that area...

I used a pendulum to help me find a jasmine plant to purchase in a nursery today, and it pointed me to a $69 5 gallon African Jasmine and I asked it to please point me to a jasmine plant that I could afford and it pointed me to the info kiosk worker.

It's strange, the more George Conway stands against Republicans, the more Filipino he looks to me. That statement might displease him, but I can't help what my eyes see.

I remember back in the year 2004– when I was a 4th year undergrad– one of my classmates did her senior project focusing on this thesis statement: "Green Day fucking sold out." It was one of the most boring (and self-evident) arguments I have ever seen in a classmate's project. Still is 21 yrs later

Watching Green Day in front of two fans on my iPad is definitely preferable to boiling in the middle of the desert in Coachella... but that is because I am officially an old. This is MY Boulevard of Broken Dreams: my knees and hips and lower back. #Coachella

I think maybe I should make a bluesky specifically to talk about women's health? Maybe?

I may well be the most secretly Scorpio coded Taurus outside of my young tuxedo cat.

Not me watching Season 2 of #XOKitty to see that Min Ho's dad reminds me of a fictionalized version of JYP. This show is unhinged in the best way and I love it.

Me reading the public health notices about norovirus: "Oh, so we're all about to have diarrhea around the time of the next inauguration ceremony in America... interesting."

I knew I was right not to forgive the man who Lemonade was written about.

I just told an elder relative that my student loan payments are the marriage that I'm in. And like with marriage, I chose based on attraction rather than purpose and sustainability. Now, I'm chained to these payments until I die or until I receive a large window of un-taxable money

I have been cleared to walk by myself, so I have turned the walker that they gave me in the hospital into a clothing valet stand. Outfit of the day? Laid out on my walker every morning...

St Denis Medical is not for me. I think it will be enjoyable for a lot of other folks though. I will say that I enjoyed the parts of the "Salamat You Too" episode focused on the so-called Filipino nurse mafia. Very fun.

Somewhere out there is my missing journal that documents a period of time where I am trying to talk myself out of how hurt and confused I am. Now, years into these feelings, I accept them for what they are: a sign that one part of my life needs to evolve.

Don't judge me for watching The West Wing... it's distracting me from the fact that most of my body still hurts.

What am I watching on tv tonight? Aaron Sorkin neoliberal madlibs from 2003 about a man who loves his daughter and invokes the 25th Amendment of the US Constitution

Watching tv, crying, wishing that everything felt like a hug. Par for the course for the Wednesday preceding the Thursday of the last American holiday of November... it's just more pointed for me this year...
