I just received the last of my dahlia tubers in the mail today. They were tiny and shrivelled do not happy. They are potted. 7 of the 10 I planted in the garden have popped up. Also bought them this year. 😂I got slightly obsessed with roses and then with Dahlias. what will be next🤔

I saw 1 dragonfly a few weeks ago. I got 6 roses this year! My Berry Delightful popped open today. Still waiting on my Wollerton old hall and Hannah Gordon. Quick silver won’t flower this year. We’ve had difficulties. Lavender is good. Rejuvenated my herb garden this month. 4 types of sage, 4 thyme

I’m also thinking of buying ladybugs. Too many ppl around me poison everything. No one does organic gardening. I only use natural sprays like pyrethrum if something is infested.

Me too! Flowers in every veggie bed. Have six. Getting two more next year. I plant nasturtiums, sweet pea, cornflowers, marigolds, alyssum, etc. helps with pollination for sure! I have bees in my garden all year as I leave some winter weeds to flower for them. Not got enough butterfly variety tho.
