I’ve almost been a professional screenwriter more times than I care to count. And several agents’ assistants have loved my books, even if their bosses didn’t.
I’m so unbelievably exhausted of this timeline.

If I were a parent of one of the new lead actors…

Just wait until he decides that casting foreign born actors is tariff worthy.

Planet of the Apes. Loads better.

Yes, but to conservatives, if they are here illegally, then they are automatically criminals. That’s just their logic.
September 25, 2025 at 2:38 PM
I’m not going to presume to challenge any of that. That doesn’t change the fact that crimes happen and someone needs to deal with it. Whatever you call that, be police or something else, the job has to be done. And saying “defund” makes people believe it won’t be. We need a new name.
September 24, 2025 at 6:30 PM
All things that would need to be included as part of the reforms. The murders and major crimes will continue irrespective of those issues. But when you say to people you want to “defund the police”, it conjures an image of those services going unserved, and that’s the problem. It’s bad marketing.
September 24, 2025 at 5:51 PM
I empathize with the anger. But we still need some semblance of police to investigate violent crimes, major fraud, etc. it’s only the community policing that needs reforming, i.e. a domestic disturbance call needs a counselor rather than an officer armed to the teeth.
September 24, 2025 at 2:31 PM
Adding community services officers while still having some police for the times where police is actually needed is the goal. So reforming the police is less scary to most people, as evidenced by the poll.
September 23, 2025 at 9:35 PM
“Reform the Police” is pretty straight forward and is more accurate. It doesn’t matter if those opposed use it as a negative, we’re after the 51% who would like to see it happen.

Cool letter. I’m sure your lawyer will have a field day with it when you sue.

You just thought of this? There was a school shooting that same day.

He thinks local television is still relevant in 2025 without national broadcast shows? Tell me you’re old without telling me you’re old. Local stations will just die quicker than they already are under this plan.

We can’t shame them because they don’t find racism and bigotry shameful. They think it’s based on common sense, which they value more than facts and figures. We’ve just got to approach conversations with Conservatives differently and without judgment.
September 18, 2025 at 7:20 PM
Until democrats realize that conservatives have a different world outlook, complete with different vocabulary, that we can’t win over by pointing out what we call hypocrisy, but to them is just different thinking, we can make no progress.
September 18, 2025 at 7:18 PM
And therefore when they punish people for speech they don’t like, such as denigrating Charlie Kirk, isn’t being hypocritical, it’s just punching back. They value strength more than logic and reasoning. so returning a punch is more moral than equitable speech.
September 18, 2025 at 7:15 PM
Racism and bigotry, basically, are non-existent terms in conservative thinking. They see no problem with thinking and pointing out that the other races or sexual identities are inferior. It’s just fact to them. So being punished for it in any way is violating their free thinking and speech.
September 18, 2025 at 7:12 PM
Pointing out hypocrisy isn’t going to win them over. They don’t see hypocrisy because they have a different definition of “free speech”. To them, free speech isn’t about persecution from the government. They see it as being able to speak freely encumbered by societal consequences (being cancelled).

Exactly the type of comment I’d expect from someone in league with the likes of Lex Luthor…😜
September 17, 2025 at 4:22 PM
Don’t sweat it. It was a horrific crime that we are all still trying to process. But just because the murderer’s politics might in some way align with yours or mine doesn’t make us responsible any more than an entire race of people should be blamed for a crime committed by a member of that race.

The scene where the camera floats around the room, pausing on all of the different musical eras with dancers floating in deserves all the Oscars.
September 12, 2025 at 9:15 PM
They’ve never let facts get in the way of their liberal hating rage before, why should now be any different?
September 12, 2025 at 5:36 PM
That’s a bad analogy because too many people would say, “yeah.” A better one is there’s a neighborhood you know has a drug lab, do you blow up a car leaving it without knowing if the car is from that one house or not?
