Amateur Emily Dickinson impersonator. Hates bullies. Wears masks. Probably playing Stardew Valley.

I miss when going on social media was fun and not just cascading horrors.

Giving a bully your lunch money is only a temporary downpayment for future bullying.

We ALL need to step up for the first amendment.

By-the-way, for the record, this ex-Disney employee finds Jimmy Kimmel very talented and funny.

I must confess: I am a Disney adult. My home is filled with Star Wars, Marvel, and Haunted Mansion stuff. I am wearing a Muppets shirt in my profile picture. I have canceled my Disney+ account. If I can do it, you can do it too.
It's also a great day to let people know that you've cancelled your Disney+, Hulu, ESPN subscriptions. Actions inspire other people to do the same.

every time we talk about parental permission in terms of book banning I'm like fuck man. kids have rights too. a 17-year-old should be able to check out books at the library without Mom and Dad stepping in. so should a 10-year-old or 7 or whatever. kids deserve SOME goddamn freedom and privacy

I was really confused about the weird contradictory rules in the fantasy book that I’m reading, and then I realized the author is Mormon. I’d be a terrible Mormon. I’d ask too many questions about coffee and soda. Though I’m definitely thankful they invented dirty sodas.

Thank God. Absolutely ridiculous that it was that close.
The ACIP vote was tied 6-6 for requiring everyone to get a prescription for the COVID19 vaccine.

The chair broke the tie by voting NO.

Prescriptions will NOT be required.

I saw the thing about the dept of education “patriotic civics,” and I also recently attended an interview with a holocaust survivor who spoke about not being able to attend school because it wasn’t safe.

Please start researching secular, academic homeschooling if you are any sort of outlier.

Add to all this that Herr Bankrott is now threatening to take away all their licenses for being big meanies to him, this was an indisputable attack on first amendment rights.

Regardless of the disgraceful nonsense we will likely hear from this administration in the coming days on vaccine “recommendations,” Americas healthcare insurers issued a joint statement tonight saying coverage for Covid and flu shots will remain unchanged from prior years.

Speaks for itself.

It’s nice knowing someone who enjoys growing flowers because they have a ton to give away at the end of the season.

One of the book club kids said today that a good romance starts with friends falling in love, and a bad romance starts with rah rah ah ah ah.

May I remind everyone that there is currently NO cure for rabies.

May I also remind everyone there is absolutely NO scientific proof connecting ANY vaccine that we produce today with autism.

This is true regarding vaccination in both humans AND in dogs.

Vaccinate your pets please.

I’m afraid that mine is a little bit like the teenage girl in the attic on Ghosts, but she deserves love too.

I’m finally watching the Las Culturistas awards and I think my husband thinks Ana Gasteyer actually works at Womencrafts. He just said, “aw, we’ll have to go there next time.” Do you know how many times I’ve made him watch Mean Girls?

As predicted, women in New Hampshire had a hard time voting yesterday because of the new proof of citizenship law:

“It doesn’t have my married name on it,” she said. Town voting officials then sent her away a second time, to get her marriage certificate.

NH’s new ID requirements send some would-be voters home to grab passports, birth certificates
The law requires all new voters to show proof of their U.S. citizenship. For some, that meant making multiple trips to and from the polls before finally casting a ballot on Tuesday.

We finally finished reading the hunger games trilogy in the middle school book club. Whew! Mockingjay? In this climate? I'm ready to move onto something cozier: Greek Gods by Rick Riordan. Yes, Greek mythology is cozier right now. 😅

Better to check now & get topped up than risk it later. With Trump’s chaotic rule changes & RFK Jr’s anti-vax nonsense, access to vaccines could shrink fast. Tetanus, MMR, shingles, flu—make sure you’re covered before they make it harder. Stay ahead of the mess.
