A lot of fun opening and being a judge yesterday at the BTRC Dog Show on Parsons Green in aid of the Brain Tumour Research Campaign. Wonderful dogs, proud owners, all brought together by dedicated volunteers for a great Fulham day.

It was a privilege to represent Chelsea and Fulham residents, and an honour to see HM The Queen again, at a recent reception at Buckingham Palace held by HM The King for newly elected MPs and recently appointed Lords.

It was an honour for me to save Stoll military veterans in Fulham from eviction and keep their community together. They'll start moving to brand new homes in the spring. I was pleased to be invited to support their Q&A with Stoll management last week. I'll keep sticking by them.

I and other Labour MPs are determined to hold managing agents to account and stop them ripping off residents. We've already met FirstPort to demand they improve. Now we've asked RMG to come to Parliament to explain excessive service charge increases, lack of transparency and more.

What a delight to welcome the engaged, fizzing St Joseph's Primary School in Chelsea to Parliament this week. Their curiosity, enthusiasm and great questions filled me with hope for the future. The school and its teachers are doing a top job.

My thanks to the lively, engaged politics students at Chelsea Academy for welcoming me and giving me a grilling on everything from assisted dying to how I help constituents to who's the worst behaved MP (I hope my reply remains between us).

I'm still fighting alongside residents to save the King's Road Post Office from closure, as I said in Parliament last week, making the case to PO management and the government.

Please sign my petition to help keep up the pressure: bencoleman.uk/post-office-...

80 years from the liberation of Auschwitz, I signed the Holocaust Educational Trust Book of Commitment in Parliament and attended a powerful event held by Hammersmith & Fulham Council which also talked about the Bosnian genocide. We must stand up against hatred, educate and never forget.

On this weekend’s glorious Saturday, it was great to pop into the #SEACCFulham rest stop of the London Winter Walk and meet #ActionChallenge organiser Jill, founder Julian and volunteers. Lots of happy people doing a 25K or 50K walk (gulp!) and raising thousands for charity.

Last week I reported how Labour MPs concerned about leasehold managing agents’ failures met FirstPort. Today over 50 of us have sent a follow-up letter demanding better service, transparency and a further meeting. We'll do the same with other managing agents not up to scratch.

I’m delighted Labour's announced almost £700k for @hfcouncil.bsky.social and @rbkc.gov.uk to fix the pothole problem. Plus tough penalties on utilities who break the rules when they dig up our roads. After 14 years of Tory neglect, we're keeping our manifesto promises - and going further.

Pleasure to host the Residents’ Group of G15 London's largest housing associations (chaired by my constituent Daisy Armstrong) & launch powerful report on tackling stigma faced by residents. Stirring speeches, inc from @florenceeshalomi.bsky.social Housing Committee Chair. lnkd.in/eAzw2rtJ

Leaseholders in Chelsea & Fulham are being ripped off by managing agents ramping up unexplained charges for poor service. I and other Labour MPs are determined to change that. We started today with the bosses of FirstPort, one of the worst offenders. Will keep the pressure on.

Chanukah is a time for family, community and celebration.

Chag Chanukah Sameach to Jewish communities in the UK and around the world.

Great to pop into a seasonal favourite: H&F Council's Big Christmas Day Lunch for 400 older Fulham & Hammersmith residents. Music, dancing, prizes, gift, lots of fun. Good to see Mayor Patricia Quigley, @stephencowan.bsky.social, Andy Slaughter. Huge thanks to H&F Giving, volunteers and donors.

It was jumping at SEACC Fulham when I dropped in on their children's Christmas party run by the effervescent Keisha from WiggleWaggle. Dancing, food, bouncy castle, Santa - and loads of local kids and their parents having a great time. Thanks to all involved.

Many thanks to the Chelsea Pensioners @royalhospital.bsky.social for a joyful visit to chat to veterans, hear about the Royal Hospital's outreach work and tour the beautiful buildings. The stunning Wren chapel and lovely cafe welcome the public all year round. A wonderful place to pop in.

Brilliant to meet @chelseafcn.bsky.social stars Levi Colwill and Tosin Adarabioyo during their visit to Barons Court Project as part of the #WrapUpWarm campaign to help homeless people in the cold weather. Guests and staff massively appreciate the players and Chelsea Foundation's support.

Lovely to catch up with a merry group of pupils and teachers at ThomasAcademy's Christmas Fair. Very good homemade cake!

A pleasure to meet the resilient and wonderful Sophie White from my constituency ahead of Less Survivable Cancers Awareness Day on 11 January.

We urgently need to protect more of our world's oceans. I’m backing the @greenpeaceuk.bsky.social campaign to protect the Sargasso Sea - a uniquely biodiverse part of the Atlantic Ocean that supports many rare and loved creatures. Let's ratify the Global Ocean Treaty now.

Fabulous to see St Joseph's Catholic Primary School bringing their recent performance in ENO's La Boheme to Parliament, to meet the amazing Lesley Garrett CBE who is championing music education for all, and to thank @tbmh.bsky.social for all they do to support young musicians in Chelsea and Fulham.

Children's addiction to smartphones is a big issue for families and teachers in Chelsea and Fulham, who tell me about the harm "doomscrolling" algorithms can do to mental health, sleep and learning. It's worst for vulnerable children and I'm glad to support The Safer Phones Bill.
