A lot of fun opening and being a judge yesterday at the BTRC Dog Show on Parsons Green in aid of the Brain Tumour Research Campaign. Wonderful dogs, proud owners, all brought together by dedicated volunteers for a great Fulham day.

It was a privilege to represent Chelsea and Fulham residents, and an honour to see HM The Queen again, at a recent reception at Buckingham Palace held by HM The King for newly elected MPs and recently appointed Lords.

It was an honour for me to save Stoll military veterans in Fulham from eviction and keep their community together. They'll start moving to brand new homes in the spring. I was pleased to be invited to support their Q&A with Stoll management last week. I'll keep sticking by them.

I and other Labour MPs are determined to hold managing agents to account and stop them ripping off residents. We've already met FirstPort to demand they improve. Now we've asked RMG to come to Parliament to explain excessive service charge increases, lack of transparency and more.

What a delight to welcome the engaged, fizzing St Joseph's Primary School in Chelsea to Parliament this week. Their curiosity, enthusiasm and great questions filled me with hope for the future. The school and its teachers are doing a top job.

I'm fighting in Parliament for the wonderful Chelsea Reach houseboat community threatened by a predatory landlord. Delighted the govt has confirmed to my friend Lord Cashman it will consider action needed to give houseboat owners greater security in their homes.

My thanks to the lively, engaged politics students at Chelsea Academy for welcoming me and giving me a grilling on everything from assisted dying to how I help constituents to who's the worst behaved MP (I hope my reply remains between us).

I'm still fighting alongside residents to save the King's Road Post Office from closure, as I said in Parliament last week, making the case to PO management and the government.

Please sign my petition to help keep up the pressure: bencoleman.uk/post-office-...

80 years from the liberation of Auschwitz, I signed the Holocaust Educational Trust Book of Commitment in Parliament and attended a powerful event held by Hammersmith & Fulham Council which also talked about the Bosnian genocide. We must stand up against hatred, educate and never forget.

On this weekend’s glorious Saturday, it was great to pop into the #SEACCFulham rest stop of the London Winter Walk and meet #ActionChallenge organiser Jill, founder Julian and volunteers. Lots of happy people doing a 25K or 50K walk (gulp!) and raising thousands for charity.

Last week I reported how Labour MPs concerned about leasehold managing agents’ failures met FirstPort. Today over 50 of us have sent a follow-up letter demanding better service, transparency and a further meeting. We'll do the same with other managing agents not up to scratch.

Greg Hands & the Tories repeatedly lied about funding for Charing X Hospital rebuild. Wes Streeting offers a new, honest approach. It is disappointing CX and St Mary’s will have to wait so long and I will press ministers on alternative funding approaches. bencoleman.uk/charing-cross-hospital/

The Tories lied about Charing Cross Hospital. Labour will deliver on the rebuild. And we will be honest with people.

Great coverage of Hammersmith & Fulham Council's pioneering free care policy so Disabled & elderly people can stay living independently at home. Directly benefits thousands of Fulham residents. Hope Louise Casey’s social care commission will look at this success. www.theguardian.com/society/2025...

I’m delighted Labour's announced almost £700k for @hfcouncil.bsky.social and @rbkc.gov.uk to fix the pothole problem. Plus tough penalties on utilities who break the rules when they dig up our roads. After 14 years of Tory neglect, we're keeping our manifesto promises - and going further.

Leaseholders in Chelsea & Fulham are being ripped off by managing agents ramping up unexplained charges for poor service. I and other Labour MPs are determined to change that. We started today with the bosses of FirstPort, one of the worst offenders. Will keep the pressure on.

The change we need. Keir Starmer says govt will rebuild "an NHS that treats patients more quickly, that is closer to their lives, gives them the level of convenience that they take for granted in nearly every other service they use every day".

Cheered by government action on social care, as promised in manifesto.

Independent commission on new National Care Service, more £m for Disabled Facilities Grant for independent living, and proper career structure for carers - essential as they take on more health tasks.

Great start, lots to do.
Successive governments have failed on social care. It’s not a shortage of good ideas that’s the problem, but a shortage of good politics.

Today that changes with Louise Casey.

Britain has a social care crisis. Here’s how we’ll work together to fix it 👇🏻
