What is your biggest fear about this new administration? Mine is the potential loss of the small freedoms we still have. Yours?

Since there is a lot of "BUT TRUMP" happening now here is some relevant reading. protectdemocracy.org/work/underst...
Understanding Trump’s pardon abuses
Although presidential pardons are often controversial, Trump created an entirely new class: what Protect Democracy categorizes as “henchmen pardons.”

This might not be a popular opinion tonight, but if you can't do the time, don't do the crime. We have given moral carte blanche to the next administration for pardons.

I have liberal friends who are more capitalist than their conservative counterparts. Make it make sense, please.

One question we all need to ask is, 'Why are we here?' A simple answer would be just to live and let live. If you have a better one, I'm all ears. (Or eyes, in this case.)

What would Che Guevara be doing now if he were alive?

I have been reading a lot of comments on this app, and I must say, I am deeply disappointed by the number of times I see the words “scared,” “hate,” and their synonyms. My fellow comrades: No battle in history has ever been won with fear and anger. Our first and most important battle is within.

Why is there so much hate in this world? I’ll tell you why: We Are NOT Socialists enough!

Real socialism might be an utopia. And that’s fine, because In the pursuit of a true utopia, socialism must stand firm against the allure of a society that values material excess over human dignity.

We are expected to live in a Society, and to follow social rules, but we should be afraid of socialism?

Having kids is one of the most wonderful experiences in life. Losing one is the worst.

Guess where will we be in 20 years if this keeps going on.
In 1970 the richest 1% had about 4x the wealth of the average person, and the richest 0.01% had about 30x.

Now the richest 1% have 12x the wealth of the average person, and the richest 0.01% have 1000x.

This is the problem.

I’d respectfully disagree. Socialism is truly beautiful in theory. We just have never been able to embrace it in practice… Yet.
Socialism is shitty in theory, hence why it's shitty in practice

Fidel Castro was one of the greatest leaders in the history of the world. Change my mind.

The problem with Socialist countries that have a failed economy is the same everywhere: They’re NOT socialist enough!

I support the same equality that nature provides. We still need to hunt, fish and cultivate to survive. Don’t forget that.
