I have been reading a lot of comments on this app, and I must say, I am deeply disappointed by the number of times I see the words “scared,” “hate,” and their synonyms. My fellow comrades: No battle in history has ever been won with fear and anger. Our first and most important battle is within.

Real socialism might be an utopia. And that’s fine, because In the pursuit of a true utopia, socialism must stand firm against the allure of a society that values material excess over human dignity.

In 1970 the richest 1% had about 4x the wealth of the average person, and the richest 0.01% had about 30x.
Now the richest 1% have 12x the wealth of the average person, and the richest 0.01% have 1000x.
