Yeah — with those criticisms in mind, I think you’ll be happily surprised by the podcast! I had the same issues w the show, bc I felt the pod handled it way better.
I think the show runners worried they wouldn’t get a 2nd season so they packed way too much in/left a bunch of stuff out.

tl:dr - while the psychedelics industry portrays itself as a grassroots movement motivated by doing woo & good, it is funded by corporate & silicon valley money that has attacked critics/scientists, while also manipulating public opinion through astroturfed movements and social media influencers.
