I bet they(the execs) don't care that even though DS9 and VOY exist on 35mm film (bad quality 35mm film). 1080p and even 4k can be done well. If you're not gonna make money off it. Why not give the film stock to nerds who will restore it, color correct it, move it to 4k.

Pay for health insurance and all the other things. And the companies that hire you make rediculous amounts of cash. But never share it with the people who worked so hard to make it happen. Here in New Zealand film companies actually managed to get the govt to write a law

I only recently learnt the pay for doing VO work and, While on paper it looks good in $/hour vs say working at a coffee shop. In reality it's scary low given How rare the work comes to you. That you have to buy and update your gear all the time

I love having public transport infrastructure. My first EF, my first time in Europe I was blown away at how easy and cheap it was to just get around.. I'm so happy back here in New Zealand in the last 10 years cycle lanes, ebike chargers are everywhere now. I walk and ride so much more now

Oh and I know this might sound odd. But air air traffic service, Airways Corp. Despite being run by our govt. It's funded 100% by the airlines. Little people like me have to pay too every time we fly into controlled airspace but its only a few dollars. The airlines They pay BIIIG!

You should come over here to New Zealand.. Sure the pay sucks and we whinge about our govt as much as everybody else. But it's full of good people, awesome places. Oh and our internet blows the USA out of the water in speed and reliability.

I'd like to think. And I'm pretty sure I'm right that most people do say it with genuine intention. It's just that that doesn't quite connect in their brain to things like making healthcare and mental health services more accessible to vets.
