At the National Geographic Traveller Food Festival this weekend, serving up French and British cheese, saw my books out in the wild, which is always nice, met lots of lovely cheese fans, and food professionals, which is also nice. We've all done very well!

Pitchford Estate, a C16th stately home, and the Great Hall - the most amazing venue for a cheese tasting. It truly was a privilege to do this. And to stay in the bedroom where Prince Rupert hid from the Roundheads - the ghosts very kindly let me sleep.
