It is one of the most pro-LGBT things you could do is to acknowledge that trans people are capable of being awful and that it has nothing to do with them being trans, and everything to do with the fact that this person choose to be awful on their own accord.

It will. And yes, that is a good thing, considering we're getting out of an almost 40 year era of house size bloat.

Left NIMBYs are in fact, nuts.

could you point out where on this map the social housing should be built
September 6, 2025 at 1:57 AM
could you point out on this map where those mass build out of publicly owned panel housing blocks should go?
September 5, 2025 at 8:47 PM
again, I agree let's build public housing

could you point to me on the map where we should build all that dense public housing?
September 5, 2025 at 8:36 PM

lol your ad hominems don't make you right.

also the article you just linked very clearly articulates that San Francisco in fact has a historic low vacancy rate in the rental market. just like I said previously.
September 2, 2025 at 9:41 PM
San Francisco (and LA) has some of the lowest vacancy rates in the entire country. There is not "so much vacant housing in SF" That's complete misinformation

You said that san francisco is eliminating rent controlled units, I told you that's illegal to do, it has to replace them.

And please tell me what good this nonsense does:

1. Housing is not a commodity, it is an investment product.

2. Land use politics is controlled locally and is generally separate from state and federal politics (besides the few times the state/feds have had to step in and say "enough is enough" like the fair housing act and more recently SB79).

The thing about NIMBYs is that their not just the stereotypical old white pensioner railing against an apartment being built down the street.

NIMBYs are better classified as anyone who opposes tearing down the barriers to allowing individuals to use their own land efficiently and freely.

A neighborhood with mobile homes (NOT a trailer rental park, because that's a classist construct that needs to be abolished) would be suburban.

For inner cities, this is how cheap multifamily housing looks like. Small lot. small developer, small sqft. Not an expensive megacomplex

It's because it's illegal. Look at city codes and see for yourself.

In almost every city, lower end housing products are illegal to live in
