5) The Midnight Library by Matt Haig. CW: suicidal ideation. Nora Seed does not want to live. She decides to die, and instead lands in a library made up of the stories of all the lives she could have lived had she made different choices. Exciting, interesting, and hopeful. 9/10

4) The Witches Are Coming by Lindy West. A wildly poignant and politically relevant collection of essays exploring feminism, social media, comedy, and the #MeToo movement, which was happening at the time it was penned. Hilarious. Frighteningly apropos for the current time. Highly recommend. 10/10
