Can you get spare batteries? Charge a set or two as a backup? I honestly use a heating pad wrapped around my feet sometimes. It's the only thing that warms up my toes in the winter. My nail beds on my hands turn blue/purple sometimes. So cold! And I'm in Central Texas!

Mukluk slippers are very cozy and comfortable. Raynauds makes winters pretty miserable. Also, you can buy snow gloves and mittens with battery powered hand warmers.
