My biggest worry with Rivers is just that defenses have shifted so much in the last 3 years, but you at least know mentally he can run an offense.

Not a Ronaldo fan but this is beyond soft. Either it's a yellow or a red plus a yellow for the Irish flop. FIFA needs to deal with this nonsense on both sides.

They couldn't have tried to rip off the NHL harder. Silver is infamously a copycat and he saw how much fun the NHL tourney was and how much buzz it generated and figured he should just try the same thing.

The fact that he took the Dodgers who were alright and ran Shawn Green, Paul LoDuca and Adrian Beltre out of town will never be excusable for me. He also didn't draft anyone of significance for the Dodgers. Paul will always be my most hated name is baseball and that's saying something.

Idk, I don't think it was a great call but he said strike immediately and audibly. It's on the batter that that play happened because he did the melodramatic stuff that confused the baserunner. The call was not late, the signal was slow but that ump gave it in plenty of time for the baserunner.

The really interesting bit will be how the minors are handled since minor leaguers are now members of the MLBPA. How does the cap reflect lower levels and spending at them?

If an owner builds a hotel next to a stadium and offer discount rates for people who have a game ticket, is a hotel reservation using a ticket baseball related income? What about beer sales at an adjacent bar used for pregaming? Any activity on an adjacent property directly is affected by baseball.
