Solutions can also apply to character motivation, or world-building....hmm. Does one arrive at a solution in a eureka moment? Does one build it from what is already in the text? All of the above? Is a plot twist a solution, or a dodge of one? I think I need to eat lunch.

Have you ever talked about, like, "solutions" in your crafty letter? How one can arrive at a solution, or how solutions can be integrated into the structure or layers of the text (a la Gene Wolfe, maybe), etc? This is maybe less about craft than plot but I imagine you'd have interesting insights!
