I mean. Strahd is way closer to the book Dracula than the romanticized, fanficcy version. In the book he's manipulative, cruel, and power hungry. He loves no one, unlike the love that the vampire hunter team shares between them. (Closest he came to love someone is Jonathan Harker ironically)
