According to scientists at @UniofOxford having a real open fire is linked to a longer life. However, we would argue that a modern clean-burning stove is even better 😉 - burn less wood, cleaner burning AND enjoy a longer life!

But the headline is pure scaremongering - have a look at the study and you find the absolute risk increased from ~6 per 1000 to ~7 per 1000. This is a good example where we have to be so careful and honest about the stats we use.
