Yikes. Also telling on themselves there. It wasn’t about their conscious but who. It’s a bit of a wild take to me to not do the right thing because a stranger on the internet rubbed you the wrong way nah? “I was GOING to help people and protect people but I saw a rando TT and i didn’t like it”

They’ve made a vocal resurgence this week blaming anyone and everyone but themselves.

IG doesn’t show us things nearly the same way. I followed all those people on IG. When I scroll is 30% ads, 30% suggested posts (that don’t really have to do with my interests) and then a smattering of friends. It’s not the same at all.

I learned so much from TT about so many things - laundry, gardening, car repair, finance. I found books again. I was able to correct my assumptions - for example about adoptees. Saw world events from the people who lived them. Politics was only one small part of my TT experience.

Ironically I got the vast majority of my book recommendations & excellent book reviews on TikTok. I read 250+ books last year despite using TikTok as pretty much my only social media.

Your two concepts aren’t mutually exclusive.

This is deep clarity that Dem leadership has lost touch with real working people (of all backgrounds) and even post election refuses to change.

And this is why I can’t pay their sub anymore. Surprising? They don’t present truth anymore. Just both sides claims as if they’re equally based in facts and in context with no critical examination of past behavior or context.
