I never actually got around to building any decks (because I kinda doubt I could find anyone to play it with me) but I did think up a format not too long ago that sounds fun *to me* called 1995 White Border EDH. It's meant to roughly capture the feel of EDH around the time of it's conception.
- Cards are only legal if they were printed in Fourth Edition or Chronicles (the two white border sets printed in English in 1995). - Only the five Elder Dragons printed in Chronicles are legal as commanders. - No cards from either of those two sets are banned. - Other modern Commander rules apply as normal for deckbuilding, gameplay, etc.

Due to some recent revelations, the guy playing a dragonborn paladin in the D&D campaign I'm running has decided he wants to multiclass into warlock.

Tonight's going to a fun session.
A paper worth burnt edges. In fancy script, it reads: This serves as the written version of the contract between the Archdevil Tiamat the Avaricious, Queen of all Chromatic Dragons, Many-Mawed Nemesis of the Gods (“Tiamat”) and the black dragonborn known as Orlox Immidia (“Orlox”). This contract is magically binding, and will remain in effect even if this written version is destroyed. In brief, Tiamat agrees to provide magical power to Orlox, and to avoid harming him, any descendants he may one day have, and the plane he calls home, as detailed below. In return, Orlox agrees to serve Tiamat, to the best of his ability, as long as it does not violate his Oath of Vengeance to Alexandra. Orlox is bound by this contract as follows. He will follow orders given to him by Tiamat, so long as those orders do not violate his Oath of Vengeance to Alexandra. Should Tiamat give him orders that violate this oath, assuming the oath has not otherwise been broken, he is free to reject or ignore those orders. However, should he disobey an order that does not violate this oath, Tiamat will be given the freedom to end this contract in response to this disobedience, freeing her from the terms below. Tiamat is bound by this contract as follows. Tiamat may not visit the Prime Material Plane for as long as Orlox or any of his descendants are still alive and consider this plane to be their home. She may not take any actions with the intent to harm Orlox or his living descendants. If she attempts such actions, she will be banished from the Prime Material Plane for all eternity. She will also grant as much fiendish magical power to Orlox as she, in her best judgment, deems him able to handle without harm to himself or those he cares about. This contract will continue indefinitely until it is either ended by Tiamat due to the disobedience terms listed above, or until Orlox and any of his descendants have all died or chosen to make their home on a different plane of existence.

The second group of photos is from our anniversary trip last year. We found a trail covered with moss, which was whimsical. The group camp is the very specific place I met her (during a LARP) and the pier has a lot of meaning to us too; I took her out there to see the mist at night. It was magical.

The first group of photos are all from the week-long family getaway. The cabin we stayed in had way more beds than we needed, but none of them were big enough for both of us, so we made do.

I brought a huge pile of board games, but out of that entire pile, we only ended up playing Spirit Island.

First new #MarvelCrisisProtocol mini I've painted in a while!

I've been hoping for this character for literally 5 years now, and he's exactly what I hoped he would be, rules-wise.

Unfortunately, that photo doesn't really do a good job of showing the whole situation. 😅 I have some dark hairs still, for sure, but a ton of white ones, and I didn't want to laser off just the dark ones and have this weird uneven growth where it's more dense in the parts that are currently white.

I just made a little cave entrance out of clay for my little dragon. City for scale (the cave and dragon are actually both huge, see).

A drawing of an old Pathfinder character of mine. He was a kobold sorcerer with white scales, a dark blue robe, and ice magic. He was also the reason my username came about. Back in 2019, someone on Twitter was offering to draw people's OCs for fun and practice, and they made this for me. I've lost track of them in the switch to Bluesky, but I would love to credit them if they ever see this; they did a great job.

I do need to get back to those games at some point. Played the first MGS way back when there weren't any sequels yet; don't think I ever beat it.

I did pick up the new board game based on it recently and it's fantastic.
