I’m an avid reader, tea drinker (the cuppa kind but I enjoy some good tea too), a vegan, and I follow politics. Here to be with like minded peeps. 💙

The genre of books I read tend to be on the darker side: horror, fantasy, sci-fi, nonfiction.
Finished Sing Backwards and Weep by Mark Lanegan.

Damn, this one hurt. I loved it but reading this was a major throat punch. I am still trying to catch my breath. I can’t shake it off. I need to cry.

Another delicious treat to gobble up. This retelling from Medea’s point of view paints a different picture to the story. This is herstory not history, as it should be.

This collection is entertaining & interesting. They were short and after reading each one I sat on them a little to digest them. That’s where the magic happens. A good solid like.

Last month I found my 1st DNF for the year. DNF are pretty big deals for me.

I wanted to read this book was because Jim Henson when making the Dark Crystal made his crew read this book.

I was inspired to read but once I started I didn’t get far & knew this isn’t for me. Not my jam.

This wasn’t an easy read. It was emotional and raw at times.
