I actually do think that a Jewish-led philosophy of self-determination is important to our continued safety and I’m not saying I have all the answers but I am saying that what self-determination can and should look like in 2024 is something we desperately need to confront and reevaluate.

These people are so bizarre to me. Nichols ostensibly agrees that Trump is a threat to science and democracy, but then he dedicates an entire column to discrediting an institution standing up for these values. Is everyone supposed to just think that Trump is bad but not say anything?

FYI, we just put an aging cat on a newish arthritis drug. Once a month shot. Seems to have helped her pain considerably. Only mentioning as you mentioned his back legs and ours had a similar issue. The drug works well.
