ISC census shows a drop of 2.4% in pupil numbers. The Times tries to hype this up but the ISC previous claimed numbers would drop by 25%.

My estimate was 3-5% by next year.

Tariffs on agriculture from Mexico and Canada raise the price of food for 340 million Americans in order to (maybe) increase earnings for roughly 2 million full time farmers - earnings which will very likely be erased by a combination of retaliation, inflation and aggresive ICE enforcement.

After Judge Ali's ruling yesterday, the Trump admin complained that 36 hours wasn't long enough to unfreeze the foreign-aid funds and pay those invoices.

The judge replied:
