News Alert: Nippon Steel now owns 100% of US Steel, paying $14.1 billion. The company will also retain its name and Pittsburgh headquarters. This is a good deal for steelmaking in the USA. I have been critical of Trump on tariffs/Ukraine/NATO, but he was right to reverse Biden’s misguided decision.

Ag Sec Rollins said on CNN @Jaketapper today that the US exports no corn to Mexico & no dairy to Canada. Wrong on both counts. In 2024, we exported $5.6 billion of corn to Mexico and $1 billion of dairy to Canada. After Mexico & Canada retaliate, the Secretary could be right.🤦♂️

Trump has discarded 80 years of American leadership and engagement in Europe that has prevented Great Power conflict and WWIII. He undermined our country’s interests to betray Ukraine and appease Putin. Utterly dishonorable & shameful.
