Can’t remember who told me but I had heard that TfL thought it would impact the bus times on the route too much because of the amount of traffic between eltham and Woolwich. Arguably though that traffic has got worse since they changed the speed limit!

We believe it is an opportunity to make the case to extend the route from Eltham up to Woolwich, delivering much needed additional capacity to the Elizabeth Line.

Good question. It doesn’t say in the communication from Lidl but given the number of properties it will have to include some element of affordable housing.
Completely agree on your point re people moving away. It’s why we need to use sites like this to change that issue.

Good question. It doesn’t say in the communication from Lidl but given the number of properties it will have to include some element of affordable housing.
