Anyway, I wrote about driving the French Riviera, the Route des Grandes Alpes, and Provence’s lavender region, plus the book’s feature pages. None of them quite match the majesty of I-70 in western Kansas, but they’re alright, and you can read about them, and more, in Road Trips in Europe, out now.

But turns out they have actual vehicles! Call ‘em Pyoojos and Minis and you could put about four of ‘em in the bed of an F-350 (the smallest street-legal vehicle in America).

This is just astonishing cowardice and a pathetic misunderstanding of the threat this country actually faces.

Now's also an excellent time, by the way, to read up on your modern Korean history if you haven't done so: Jeon Tae-il, Gwangju, the Candlelight Revolution, and all the rest. South Koreans ripped their democratic rights free from dictators with their bare hands. Good luck taking them away.
