Just a reminder that when you give (or take) abiraterone for prostate cancer, you get a bunch of complex steroidal metabolites with various activities. It is messy. Below is what occurs after a single dose. 🧪

Always wondered whether intermittent parpi use would reduce this likelihood as well as what ‘threshold’ is required before clinical progression. Could we act at first sign of RM’s? Lots of questions .
Mechanisms of resistance to PARP inhibitors in advanced prostate cancer with BRCA2/PALB2 alterations: Reversion mutations emerge within 16 weeks. These associate with disease progression and survival.
