It is 2025 and iOS 26 still cannot add an MP3 to your music library. Am I the only person who finds this baffling? My music-writing partner and I send MP3s back and forth to each other all the time in between studio sessions but the process to get them on our phones is ludicrously cumbersome.

Assessments of government action on climate change—and public desire for climate action—should always explicitly consider how much cajoling and lobbying and pressure from oil and gas there is to do nothing.

This is a fight; not (just) a technological transition.

A Sharon Begley byline, almost 5 years after her death.

Upon hearing the news James Watson had died, a STAT reporter said in our Slack, "I wish I could read what Sharon would have written."

Incredible news: Sharon in fact did pre-write a Watson obit. And it is masterful and excoriating.

This was customers' #1 requested feature, I'm told.
