I've been working on a model for a Medieval Siege tower, I wanted to test my abilities on something different, it drops in at just over 3k tris and wheels can be instanced, so here it is so far

Next stage of the vehicle sensor system is in, mapped all 6 sensors to trigger on overlap start and end, this modifies the units detection position priority, no tick, just an event timer with a very slight delay, also using the systems interface for checking if the overlapped actor is a vehicle

After spending a little time unwrapping and rigging my Bulldozer APV, it is now loaded and ready to use in Unreal, and started mapping out the overlap avoidance sensor system

I treated myself to a Gamesir G8 Galileo Type-C as my hands getting cramp playing cod, well I'm not disappointed, 3 BR's no wins but 15 kills on each game, my usual is 5-10 kills avg 💪💪

I wanted to test the high to low poly bake on my wheels for the Bulldozer last night, image 1 is the detailed wheel mesh, image 2 is the low poly mesh, image 3 is the bake in substance to the low poly mesh

Did some work on the weapon system, the camera is now separate and a cylinder so will rotate to look at the target

A little more on my Bulldozer (APV) next is panels and rivets etc then bake those to low poly normals and move to texturing

So after a bit of tweaking and fiddling I managed to get the all four wheels set, positioned and rotated all in Geometry nodes, I do enjoy geometry nodes 😁

I wanted to save some time with modelling the wheels for The Bulldozer, So I modelled 1/4 of the wheel and then used Geometry nodes to place them and rotate them as I needed, turned out quite well I think

Hey everyone, well I did mention a reveal today, so as promised 😊 Thank you to @zackonline.bsky.social for the design, so the sketch is up forst and then the current state of the blockout, so I give you The Bulldozer, seats a driver and 3 combat infantry, first one in operates the gun mount.
