I had forgotten about "The Bell Curve". The amount of press and media attention it got, when it should have been rejected as crap immediately. Way too many leftists sociologists and economists had to spend way too much time debunking the garbage.

Today, Gottfredson’s legacy is inseparable from this controversy. She advanced hereditarian views on race and intelligence, defended The Bell Curve, and accepted money from the Pioneer Fund.
