Everything was going great today for legs day and then right on the last set of calf raises I feel the bad kind of hurt behind one of my knees. Darn. I guess I'm sitting with an ice pack under my leg for the rest of the day.

I've been working on the Fallout: New Vegas California Compliant Weapons Run and a big issues I've had is that it would seem there are so many AI-generated sites squatting on search results that I've had to keep a strict "black letter law" rule and stay on CA Leginfo. I'm almost done though.

I have been waiting 15 years for this. I'm going to ascend on Saturday.
As a special birthday surprise for Dr LaTann I got her a custom cake made to look like some of her favorite manga. The Techs at her work kept sneaking into the break room to get pictures of it before we surprised her. And yes, it is indeed a cake; I even included that 4th image to prove it.

I just got back from a trip to Japan which is a 14-hour time difference from my home and now that I'm back I keep waking up at 3-4 AM. I end up getting so much stuff done in the morning but then just have to sit around for 3 hours or so because nothing's open yet. Being an early riser kinda sucks.

I see pieces like this a lot, often w/ a spin of lamenting cultural degeneration, but reading is a LABOR issue, it’s declined because so many people are working overtime or two jobs & employers expect after hours work. France has Earth’s highest reading rate b/c long lunch breaks & labor protections

It's that time where I have to ask myself "is it just a bad case of burnout and late at night or did you just spend the last month deluding myself into thinking that people actually wanted videos about cool, unique indie games when in reality they want nothing but their yummy-nummy slop?"
