There are proposals to cancel Indefinite Leave to Remain.
That would tear families apart — including my own.
My wife could have been separated from her children under. People like my friend Tariq, who’ve lived here since babies, could be taken from their communities.

These people are Britain.

Having Johnson & Cummings in Downing Street when Covid struck was, just like Brexit, an entirely avoidable disaster caused largely by utterly appalling journalism. And now exactly the same clowns, arses & bigots with bylines are rolling out the red carpet for Farage.

Covid inquiry live: ‘Inexcusable’ delays under Johnson led to 23,000 deaths
Lockdowns may have been avoided if Boris Johnson’s government had acted faster, damning report finds

How delightfully quaint some of these old Devon village names are, their etymologies lost in the mists of time.

You may have missed this gem yesterday. From which we learn that:

1. Betting shops are really good for the mental health of isolated people.
2. Most drug-takers are not a problem.
3. Kids put tuppence in slot machines in the hope of getting rich.
4. Farage probably has a gambling industry donor.

Great speech by Lisa Nandy. Not always a huge fan. But credit where it is due. Well said Lisa 👏🏼

Fucking mad how Tim Davie is being rebranded as some sort of fucking Che Guevara. The once Tory candidate is a huge loss to the socialist movement 😂 #whentherightaintrightenough

If you’re sticking a flag to a lamppost because you are proud of this countries incredible record in supporting women’s sport then hey, I might join you. Well done the Red Roses. Superb!

I’m planning ahead for my retirement, I’m 53 and will probably have to work until 68. Which country isn’t full of cunts, won’t have regular temps of over 40 C and is least likely to be hit first in WWIII, so that I can smugly enjoy others demise before realising they were the lucky ones.

Keir’s performance today was akin to a Boycott or Taveré innings. No attempt to play anything down the off (right) or leg (left) side. Anything straight down the middle met with an admirable straight bat that was employed with zero intent to score a run against the opposition.

My god.

This is homophobia pure and simple. The kinds of things I heard as a child; growing up in a gay household. I thought we were past this.

But they are out of step with the majority of people who support, know & care for families like mine.
Nigel Farage:

"Children who have two stable parents have a better chance in life... The most stable relationships, the ones that last the longest, tend to be between men & women... There's an awful lot of kids in the country not getting the kind of start... they deserve."

Farage has two ex-wives.

Starmer could stand up in parliament, smash five pints of Carling, do a key, and then expose a British bulldog tattoo on his ball bag, it would not change their minds on him and pay any attention to what's actually happening in the country. These people should not be appeased or pandered to.

110,000 people march with T.R. 25 arrests.
1,500 protest the banning of Palestinian Action. 857 arrests.

This is under a Labour government.

Astonishing.

There’s never been a time in history where all of society have had greater freedom to spout whatever bollocks they like via a plethora of different social platforms, reaching larger audiences then they ever could. So why are so many hoodwinked into believing they can’t do so? Bafflingly stupid.

A message for Nigel Farage and Reform: We will hold you to account.

They've taken at least £2.3m in oil and gas donations and their true agenda is serving the super rich.

It's time for us all to challenge power & wealth and that massively includes Farage.
