Grateful for community, especially after so much plague! Palliative Care Chaplain focusing on caring and listening. He/him.

Lover of music, movies, MCU, Zelda, and all things silly.
Andor has been talked about a lot lately, and so I wanted to say something loudly and clearly:

Rogue One is the second worst Star Wars movie, and it has caused innumerable damage to both Star Wars and attracting the worst fans.

This exchange hits the nail on the head.

Vader makes bad puns. 1/2

No, I used it completely appropriately.

The fact that you haven't responded to what I said, either time, shows who doesn't have an actual argument here.

Please don't do this.

Sharing Tweets is one thing. Sharing fascist memes to shit on liberals or democrats is shitty and helps no one.

Everyone is scared. Turning on each other is worse than useless. Let people protest.

They blocked me for calling out this circular firing squad. Bitterness won.

She isn't finding common ground. She is bringing up what would actually help Americans.

It was in the bext paragraph after you stopped.

Fine. It took this prompting for me to make a Letterbox account, but here is mine.

Ironically, it was the artistry and storytelling of The Last Jedi that turned me around on Return of the Jedi. I think it goes deeper and harder than Empire, especially at the end.

This is the kind of bullshit that infuriates me. This is not only a lie but rewrites history in a way that ignores the intense fight of the time and the reality that Manchin and Sinema created an untenable reality.

Biden is responsible for a LOT, but this kind of bullshit does not help us.

I saw a really good question earlier about grieving process and Acceptance around the election.

Their question was whether acceptance, as described by Elisabeth Kubler-Ross meant letting go of our desire for a different or better future.

Short answer, no. But I wanted to offer a quick thread. 1/x

This really works me up with the hypocrisy and doublespeak.

Karla made an entire thread calling Kevin Kruse out for 'not understanding Latiné voters' when he noted their belief Trump is talking about other "bad" immigrants to deport. Not them.

When I point out them saying exactly this? Blocks me.

There are many people, civilian and military alike, who will stand up for the workhorse of the Rebel Alliance!

(This take brought to you by Squadrons, which convinced me of Y-Wing Supremacy!)

From what I can tell in this article, nothing here is being done based on Biden's whims.

I apologize, I might have missed it. Can you point out where that is clear?
October 5, 2024 at 1:12 PM
Please, I would encourage you to read your article again and reflect on what it is saying. You posted this article, and it is full of good information.

Biden has done the opposite of Trump, he has used the power of the President to help many people. These people in question have gotten helped.
October 5, 2024 at 12:51 PM
This is neither an accurate description of the program nor the article you just posted. This is false information.

Trump is promising to strip anyone he wants of status and concentration camps to carry out his mass deportations.

Biden is closing down a program that helped people get other status.

Well, it finally happened. Somebody showed up on Al Gore's Internet to explain to me what words I am allowed to say when TALKING ABOUT THE TRAUMA HCWs SUFFERED FROM WORKING WITH PEOPLE DYING OF COVID!!

Please, do not fucking do this. Especially if you don't know what you are fucking talking about.

I rememeber sitting over on Twitter watching people talk about this strange new BlueSky place.

I may have missed earlier iterations, but I am so grateful to be here with you all. This has been a very welcoming and kind community.

Thank you for that. This community has helped me through the plague.

Again, you can call me a loser all you want. Wages are above pre-pandemic levels and growing.

You are wrong.

It is not at all odd, and there are definitely more than two possibilities. I find it very interesting you immediately assume conspiracy. I am beginning to think you are not here in good faith.

The WH report mentions a cognitive test, and the specialist who performed it. Will you acknowledge that?
July 12, 2024 at 2:59 AM
True, happy is a different thing, in the third article I sent you.

He did, in fact, get them everything they asked for. It was in the first article and in subsequent reporting.
July 11, 2024 at 5:09 PM
I said nothing about bad faith or an underhanded motive. If mistaken is easier, then let's use that. The quote you provided is inaccurate and untruthful, cut in such a way it does not provide clarity and context. Others have said this to you, and you have agreed.
July 2, 2024 at 8:10 PM
What the fuck are we even doing here? Why are we arguing an irrational and deeply unserious question?

One debate. One debate and we act like the world is fucking ending. We really should reflect that we are the problem here, because the polls don't show this panic.

One of these things is not...

That is not privilege, nor what midlife means. You are not talking about midlife, you are talking about a midpoint or a halfway point. Which you are correct, no one knows.

Midlife and the midlife crisis recognize a statistical reality of an 80-year lifespan. Which yes, is ambitious with the plague.
