I'm being glib here but I'm actually very serious about this.
I'm tired of every part of culture being about competition. Everything framed in terms of winners and losers, as though life is zero sum.

always baffles me when I see “but writers/creatives/etc. HAVE to use AI to remain competitive!”
besides AI writing being worse, there’s no evidence it gives any real advantage over not using it. you’d still have to fix all its screw ups, which takes time you could use to do it right the first time.

Huh, so you can pull from an upstream repo, then rebase to get the latest changes, then push it back into your fork without needing to worry about GitHub.
