Here for games and art and whatever.
Wilds is fun but then a rogue triangle appears and I realize the room is 10ºc hotter as the computer demands I stop.

I hope Monster Hunter Wilds actually gets that promised performance improvement.
PC struggled with the first beta last year and upgraded since. Ran this one to check the difference.
Did a hunt fine, messed with some settings and then I think the TAA bugged out. Legs turned to glitter, stopped there.

Meta has ruined VR with exclusivity and a complete disregard for what people want from it.

I already have screens to watch things.
I don't want to put a headset on so I can be in a larger and emptier room to watch a screen through some screens.

Spend the day swapping in a new motherboard, CPU, cooler and RAM.
I still hate the picking apart my PC with screws just about lining up or using more force than feels right.
At least the only problem I've got is the 2nd M2.SSD not being detected.
The first one with windows on booted without issue.

Unfortunately still using the other site as it's slightly better at giving current events. I've been playing attention to the sort of responses identical posts between the two sites have. This one in particular has pissed off a lot of people. Unsurprisingly most aren't from the UK.

I'd like to see a breakdown of some of these, not because I think it's rigged or anything malicious.
I'm just curious what changes with each country, hardware spec, average monthly spend, total games owned.
Or even if it only counted votes from people that owned the game they picked. Just wondering
The Steam Awards voting has come to a close.

The thing about Titanfall 2 is that when people mention "that one level" it's actually at least 3 levels.
Also the multiplayer is still fun and somewhat active. Even the wave defence mode you can get into without much delay.
Titanfall 2 is now 90% off on Steam. The single-player campaign on that is really solid. You could do a lot worse than check it out if you haven't, it's great.

That one level in there? Not gonna spoil it, but very memorable. Very memorable.

I'm not a fan of him, but removing his content seems backwards when you could make it free and allow everyone to shoot him in the face.

It never seemed right that a game released a week ago can be eligible for voting.
I swear every year a game does this and gets far more attention than if it released at any other time.

I can run the Wilds demo
It's just 50fps
on low settings
Still playable and the Rey Dau fight had a great flow to it, even if the thing ran away a bit much.
Just reaffirms the need to upgrade.

Your average steam user is really bad at reading. There's currently 24,293 people ingame for the Monster Hunter Wilds demo. The servers don't get turned on for another 12 hours so they are just compiling shaders and looking at a connection error.

#MonsterHunter includes the frame the monster takes the killing blow on your rewards screen. I hope that at some point they give the option to save a killing blow so you can see something like this without the HUD.

Heard so much about the new Batman VR game but then find it's only on the standalone headsets. Exclusivity for VR of all things makes no sense, more so when Meta has a PC app that they just don't add things to. Or just ignoring steam entirely.
I refuse to replace my old Rift S for bad business.

Monster Hunter is one of the few games that pulls me in each game with very little additions actually needed.
The similarities to 4U still have me hoping we get a Mohran fight with the new engine and free movement.

Algorithm tinkering, show me:
Video games, Nintendo, Zelda, F-Zero, Splatoon, Monster Hunter, Steam, Fanart, Indie, Risk of Rain, Guild Wars, Half Life, gamedev.
I'd start listing genres but it would be just about everything.

Should have done this sooner, might have got my name instead of it being on a never used account.
Guess I've not got two feeds to swap between depending on my daily tolerance for brainrot.
