As the first proper follow up to Generations, it was an immediately unfavorable comparison. The levels were painfully short, most of which had very little complexity in terms of design, and the story felt thrown together…but in a different way than the Adventure Era games. Music was fine enough.

I could see them moving the reveal up to January if they’d had February in mind. But for all we know January was always the plan. Regardless of how bad the leaks get, we aren’t seeing an official announcement until 2025.

Also a music track that I’m pretty sure has the longest amount of unique instrumental verses or whatever before it loops compared to any other track in any Sonic game!

I’ve noticed this trend as well. If there’s one thing the Metroid Prime sequels did better than MP1, it’s having unique biomes, and I really hope MP4 continues that trend, even if all we’ve seen for now is “pretty jungle world”. I want more wild stuff like Sanctuary Fortress in MP2 or Elysia in MP3.

All we can do is take our time to regroup, and just keep going. Lookout for each other, and when shit starts getting bad, feel motivated to fight even harder in 26 and 28.

I always think of it as my final year of high school, which feels long enough ago. But W still being president feels like another damn universe.
