Oh hell yeah!

I’m finding myself more and more looking forward to the moments I can sneak off for another turn by my lonesome than actually playing with other people. Gives me the cerebral high and dice tingles without the social drop (and reminds me how much I do enjoy world building/character plots)

Consider me very curious about both endeavors! Especially the RPG that’s one of my fav topics to pull game inspiration from

My brain meats thinks this is either Beebop from original TMNT cartoon or one of the Beagle Boys from Ducktales (again, the OG)

It’s easy to get burned out by the different versions but I’ll always throw down classic fantasy

Movies: The Hunger, Hellboy, The Forsaken, Night Breed, Lost Highway, Lo (seek this one out!), Ink, Near Dark

TV: Constantine, AHS: Coven, Supernatural, Buffy

Music: Sisters of Mercy, Aesthetic Perfection, NIN, too many to list really

RPGs: World of Darkness, Buffy/Angel, Call of Cthulhu, Chill, and of course the amazing d00Lite games of BareBones Fantasy and Covert OPs that I built off of.

Books: Lumley’s Necroscope series, Anne Rice’s Vampire Chronicles, Clive Barker in general…

Seriously a party wipe could have, maybe should have happened if not for some lucky shield rolls.

Mind you: I HAD A BLAST and loved playing through it… but I’m not sure total newcomers would appreciate it as their introduction. Could be wrong, was wondering what other #HeroQuest boardgamers felt?

Table has plenty of other uses too. Just had a family Monopoly night* and the trays were handy for Mini-Grenade to keep his cards and coins on/sorted.

* Fall Guys Monopoly remains our favorite in being fast to play and easy for youngins to grasp. That and catapulting Beans is always hilarious.
