Is there anywhere that the Bluesky team has explicitly said that, or someone has shown conclusively that’s why this is happening? (Aka via metadata)

It’s a hot mess here in the US in many ways, but RedNote is not an app that’s answerable ultimately to workers. It’s owned by huge ass VCs like Sequoia China, and companies like Alibaba and Tencent.

I rarely do this but you have GOT to be shitting me.

Two things stick out:

1) you only believe this if you have no real understanding of the immense work to make decentralization real that has been going on

2) the vibes have to be real bad for people to be saying this.
