So many people now are too young to even know the concept of pre-existing conditions!
Also, maternity coverage. Pretty much non-existent in the individual market pre-ACA.

And that's how I ended up paying hundreds of dollars for blood tests during my fertility treatment that, if ordered by my primary care doctor instead of my fertility doctor, would have cost less than $20 total. One example of many.
