I don't think I really understood bicycle gear ratios and why "24 speed!" is just a marketing gimmick until I counted the teeth on my bike's sprockets and made this handy graph. (Upper left is fastest downhill; lower right is easiest uphill.)

This morning's eastern sky reminded me of the 19 years I've spent on Flickr, and how much I used to enjoy the community there.
Flickr resisted enshittification longer than many websites, but it inevitably set in.
Fortunately I can still enjoy beautiful skies.

#SpotifyWrapped showed up for me today. It said I listened to 4,278 minutes of music this year (thru Dec 1), and more than half of that (2,411 minutes) was spent on #BandMaid, which didn't surprise me at all. After all, I'm a top 0.5% fan.
All five of my top songs of the year are Band-Maid songs.
