For real tho, given Metal Heroes itself had a lot of "throw stuff at the wall and see what sticks", I think something in that vein would be a good idea if Super Sentai was to go away for a few years
Certainly would be a much better idea than that "Universe Sentai" rumour

ngl I think I'd have more respect if they just said "yeah it's because our EiC has a prior bone to pick with you. Also your article is harsher/detailed on CR than anything we've said on the matter, especially when CR's sponsoring us, can't be too meanie bo beanie about our sponsors"

Yeah the stuff we know now about the BTS stuff does make it clear it didn't really matter Who they threw into the replacement writer chair, being basically told "hey build this house while we're actively tearing down parts of it around you" wouldn't get the best results out of most people

And like. There's fucking artistry in those signs. Someone in the production of those shows had to put them there, put thought into how they look, how they come onto the screen
So it's always bothered me how a lot of pro releases just never Cared, bar the 1 site that used the main fansub format

Like CR wasn't perfect about typesetting (the noted thing of only using Core fonts for the Web for Everything, signs without shadows/outlines still typesetting with them), but it was so much better than basically every other service that still exists and licenses this stuff just not bothering At All
