I just want you all to know Mika has very VERY strong opinions on what you are wearing. A tail wag if she approves. A Marge Simpson growl if she thinks you look stupid (she probably thinks you look stupid).

If you don’t have tweens, you don’t realize how hard it is to keep them off of screens and outside. But this has been occupying my tweens for over 3 hours now so I kinda feel like I’m winning.

Spent the weekend in the Minnesota north woods. The beauty of the loons calling, the smell of pine and cypress, the cool Mississippi river headwaters (so clear and calm up here) underneath my feet, and the beauty of nature made me hopeful. It’s worth fighting for.
