Cost of living crisis is mostly home and rent prices. Urban rent has gone up by 2.4x since 2000, 1.2x since the end of the pandemic. Case-Schiller home price index up over 3x since 2000, and ~1.4x since the pandemic. Wages have gone up, yes, but home and rent prices more so
