Resilience; read an article about 'web' resilience, because the internet will go down at some point for some time. Satellites was an answer.

And @wikipedia.org is equally no longer trustworthy as well.

Where does one go for information?

I bought a Smokey Joe Weber. I've smoked a bit, & I'm learning (I live alone) to eat *all* the stuff I smoked before I smoke anything else. Otherwise the rest of the chicken I had smoked would have been fine, had I not smoked salmon and ignored the smoked chicken that I had to feed to the seagulls.

Hi, lived in Epsom for last 30 years, voted Nats every time (normal left voter) in order to force act out.

But found out to my horror that the Greens & Labour voters LOVED Hide/Seymour so voted them in by voting for their own candidates. Pretty sure Hide onwards gave $$ to party electorates.

I just couldn't find the words to express myself to my Chch hosts. It was very moving and I'll never forget it.

I was struck speechless cycling through the Red Zone in March this year at @cyclingactionnz.bsky.social 's annual CANDo - I couldn't believe it.

As someone who lived through those times, this hits just a little close to the bone and gives me pause that I'm so grateful that NZ had compassion then, from both parties.

OMG you have an Atlas! We had one at our bach for years - made the best roast chook. Sadly it gave up the ghost and the replacement never was as good.

You said, 'Are you not concerned... ' - you are addressing the machine as if there were someone physical behind it when we know there isn't.

Grok replied to you *as if* it were a real person, because it's been trained to respond to your assumption.

Need to ask questions differently somehow.

I want to cry sometimes about the way women were and are still treated.

Crayfish 'functionally extinct' in the Hauraki Gulf
Removing too many crayfish & big snapper has skewed the ecology of the #HaurakiGulf and seen the rise of #KinaBarrens
These pieces are nearly 10 yrs old - more #MarineReserves are just happening
