WARN filings expose 4.7k of Amazon's 14k cuts last month. 500 PMs were laid off while engineers (1,800 laid off) were hit hardest, mostly SDE IIs which refutes the "management bloat" narrative.

No you don’t need a new iphone unless…

it takes 2 minutes to open an app, your photos suck, battery dies in 4 hours, or you can’t use the camera or softwares for professional use

Same rule as before, 3-5 year upgrade cycles is sufficient.

This change to Grok’s answer about the greatest threat to Western civilization is particularly ironic/meta.

Grok used to say that misinformation and disinformation were greatest threat to Western civilization. Elon Musk changed the answer to something more in line with his personal views: “demographic collapse.”
