Payne did appeal this suspension, but it was upheld. He'll miss the Madrid trip.
The NFL announced that #Commanders DT Daron Payne has been suspended one game without pay for striking Amon-Ra St. Brown in last night's game. Immediately unclear if he plans to appeal.

Parsing Dan Quinn's post-game comments, it would certainly appear that he doesn't plan on firing Joe Whitt Jr this week.
That means the Madrid game becomes VERY interesting;
