International Ecommerce UI/UX/Creative Director. I design things — sometimes they look nice.
I don’t care how silly it is or the whole ‘don’t think, just consume’ concept of branded crossovers are, I’m eager for the big (and canon!) Superman vs. Homelander fight because you just know they’ll righteously embarrass the shit out of Vought’s golden boy.

It seems like Diana is being written better in every title *but* her core universe's. She was also great in the final issue of The New Gods this week.

The head sculpt on these things are massive. Something about the physical weight of a prop makes even something static feel way more lifelike than simple CGI.

I'm sorry, but I have absolutely nothing witty to add to this latest development. The Nuzzi saga has been one of the best things to happen to Bluesky in *ages* and I haven't felt this excited to see where the story leads in quite some time.

The CWC shirt, Loss.jpg and Goatse are the Mount Rushmore of dumb internet things you only need to see a fraction of to immediately recognize.

My biggest hope is that whenever Marvel gets around to doing another Hulk solo film: make it horror-based. You essentially have a heroic Jason in modern Hulk: an immortal, unstoppable rage monster who can go from fighting the mother of monsters to slowly, ruthlessly stalking a child killer.

Something I feel not enough people outside of comics are aware of is the fact about 10 years ago Marvel successfully rebooted the concept of the Hulk into a body-horror masterpiece. Multiple writers have explored the idea of the Hulk simply being the latest avatar of man’s inherent fear of monsters.

There is nothing I appreciate more than when organizations absolutely commit to the bit even when only .0003% of the audience may truly get it.

It’s funny how, after Doom 3’s focus on the demons scaring the marine, Doom 2016 really emphasized the Doom Slayer being absolutely unfazed by their bullshit and ready to throw down at a moment’s notice.

Another set down. Once I get some white display risers I’ll get proper photos set within the lightbox.

Next up are terminators.

I’ve been babysitting the goldens today and after 3 hours they’ve only just calmed down.

The little Huntress Wizard origin segments at the start of Fionna & Cake episodes are phenomenal. Likewise, I know some people aren’t fans of the slice of life aspects this season, but I honestly love all the weird little townies and the exploration of Fionna being a well-meaning train wreck.

They're just smelling one another at this point.

Basing comes next as I don’t have the brain power tonight. Next time I’ll experiment with Wild Rider Red as the weapon’s edge highlighting so it pops a bit more against bright lighting (the current Evil Sunz Scarlet looks good in-person, however).

Honestly happy for them. The Sonic comics have done a pretty solid job of creating characters that could theoretically work in actual games. Likewise it’s nice they get some credit for keeping the fandom alive between game/film releases.

Oh, Milhouse. You'll never be a meme.

My nearly 6 year-old niece has taken to circling anything she wants for Christmas in magazines and flyers from their mail. Apparently this even includes the fake snowballs in said advertisements.

Something that warms my elder Millennial heart is knowing my beloved childhood starter Pokémon, Venusaur, has remained a nuisance in competitive tournaments for over a decade.

I feel like I picked a winner when Red/Blue released stateside and it's only Pokémon I actually have Japanese merch of.

It's funny what one ends up rewatching once kids are involved in your life again.

My niece somehow ended up discovering the 90's Mighty Ducks animated series. I haven't seen that show in ages so it was a blast to see again. Next stop is making her watch Street Sharks.

Two more bodies down. They’re in the ugly part until I wrap up the second set of highlights and then finalizing the weapons with their own highlights/burn marks.

Really not a fan if these ‘push-fit’ models as they don’t allow easy sub-assembly (also I feel the overall details are crummier).

I wish I wasn’t so allergic to cats. Instead I am burdened with hairy beasts that scratch baseboards in their sleep and demand my food.

Carnosaur proves that you can make magic simply by renting out a low-tier dinosaur puppet to Roger Corman for 48 hours.
