Late to reply but thanks for the recommendation. Spanish Civil War is a facinating topic that I want to learn more about. 1920s 30s is a period I am studying.

I want to write my own book, and I am studying the great authors. I am almost 60 so I have to push it. I intend to read all the Steinbeck books. East of Eden up next. I am also big Sinclair Lewis fan and have read many of his books. I work in some modern novels as well.

Greg Iles - I'm almost finished with the Bone Tree, read Natchez Burning first. Once I get the trilogy done I plan on reading the Quiet Game. Will move Cemetary Road into my cue. I've got my mind on reading Steinbeck's East of Eden. I've read most of his works. Cannery Row- I just loved it.

Seen him many times. Took requests from the crowd on cocktail napkins at one show. Scenes from the Southside album is good all the way through.

I saw that comment about No Kings in Birmingham. Coordinated talking point propaganda.
