Griffin Dunne book "The Friday Afternoon Club" is something else. Quote from Martha Graham to Agnes de Mille, quite profound. Also, at my StepFather's funeral the minister kept mispronouncing his last name, my Mother such a loyal member, every Sunday, and he got her name wrong over and over. #books

After Spain in Our Hearts -Adam Hochshild, now Hugh Thomas' Spanish Civil War. Next up Orwell's Homage to Catalonia. My grandmother Martha Beck's lover + accomplice in theft + murder was Raymond Fernandez (Lonely Hearts Killers) who served in the International Brigades in the Spanish Civil war.
