An early #LetterboxdFriday to share my #LastFourWatched before I log last night’s film 😛.
Some spooky season holdovers, Robin Williams, and my first Guillermo del Toro film.

As usual, a late/early #LetterboxdFriday #LastFourWatched.
I have to say that most of the 2025 releases I’ve seen so far have left me a bit wanting, and The Mastermind continued the trend. Not a bad film though. Excellent costumes!
Halloween-adjacent animation was clearly where it’s at this week.

Extremely underwhelming women’s event so far, and I’m already well into the second group.
Gubanova’s costume is making me crave one of these.

Soooo many bad haircuts (and mustaches) in USL.
There’s also a guy that I call Dollar Tree Jack Grealish. He’s unfortunately rather good.

Belated #LetterboxdFriday #LastFourWatched.
When I tell y’all I almost walked out of the theater during Anemone, and I never do that… I also almost fell asleep a couple of times 😬.
Elsewhere, finally watched my first Diane Keaton film (yes, really).
I think I slightly underrated Sebastian tbh.

Early #LetterboxdFriday because I have accumulated another #LastFourWatched ahead of time thanks to the free trial of Kino that I’m enjoying (mostly lol).

Forever a WoSo legend 🥲

#LetterboxdFriday #LastFourWatched The end of German month with my movie club, an animated short, and an interesting but ultimately underwhelming Daisy Ridley indie.

Actually a very interesting week for me film-wise, even if I had some quibbles about all of them. #LetterboxdFriday #LastFourWatched

#LetterboxdFriday #LastFourWatched The Wenders film was definitely the best, but I will always have a soft spot for Mona Lisa Smile. “A girdle to set you free. What does that mean?!”

Idly watching El Salvador vs Suriname and heard a surprisingly familiar name 😛

I’ll recommend two I’ve read this year: Mutual Interest by Olivia Wolfgang-Smith (fiction) and Moving the Bones by Rick Barot (poetry). And for a bonus non-fiction pick, Emma Thompson’s screenplay & diaries from the filming of Sense & Sensibility were an utter delight to read. Charming Hugh Grant!

#LetterboxdFriday #LastFourWatched An interesting mix and I enjoyed all of these films, just wasn’t overly enthusiastic about any of them at the same time.

I have assembled my loan army on FotMob (plus Phillips who got cut off by the screen, seems symbolic). Watching Ryan Mason’s first WBA game instead this morning though.
